Not entirely sure how appropriately that relates to my point that most
multiplayer gaming services need to start charging for their services or face
the serious threat of going bust - as even a well funded operator can run
continue to poorly-performing servers.
However it is kind of illustrative of how a struggling company with no money to
invest in trained staff and decent server hardware can end up producing a dire
service.
Let us hope that the paid-for service from Barrysworld performs better than the
the service from this UK2 company you mention.
