This documentary is an inspiring true story that touches
the soul and gives faith in the human race. Bill was man who grew up in an
institution and is befriended by people, he wasn't discarded by everyone when
he got out. Genuine real people, didn't view him as a burden on society, but as
the gift and a joy that was he was. It demonstrates that all people are just
people with needs and gifts and it is possible to support one and other. Every
person, regardless of "differences", can touch many other people's lives! This
is a wonderful story. (1 1/2 hour full version of the documentary)

All people should be provided opportunities to achieve
their potential. Ultimately, inclusive education can lead to better learning
outcomes for all children, not just children with disabilities, according to
UNICEF. It promotes tolerance and enables social cohesion as it fosters
inclusive social culture and promotes equal participation in society.

Improved Job Opportunities for Americans with Disabilities
Historic Hiring Goal for Federal Contractors and
Subcontractors
                    US Labor Department
                    http://www.dol.gov/opa/media/press/ofccp/OFCCP20111614.htm

The U.S. Labor Department, on December 9th, proposed
requiring federal contractors and subcontractors to increase hiring of
employees with disabilities, setting a specific goal of 7 percent.

The proposed rule spells out what contractors and
subcontractors must do in the areas of recruitment, training, record-keeping
and policy dissemination. The new standards are similar to those that have long
been required to promote workplace equality for women and minorities. It would
require companies to devote more resources to recruiting efforts to hire more
workers with disabilities, improve training programs and update data collection.
