Since I had the honor to be the cox on the boat I need to report and make a
quick statement.
Crew was top, we were able to row with all four for the complete roundtrip to
Ijams after a quick pair warm up.
Water conditions, some of the best I have seen on that river. The current was
strong thou and it was probably not super pleasant for Kim on the single.
Almost no traffic on the river.
And the temperature actually was pleasant for 6/1 after reading 92 F‘s on the
way home from work!
The water temperature was really cool and made it really nice.
Now, I’m the one who didn’t row😂
I was happy to hone and learn more about coxadoodling (Pete did whisper at me
sometimes).
We did two power drills, one close to Ijams on the way up, and the other one
after the water plant.
You ladies rocked
I hope Kim wasn’t too bored on the single and I hope Robin and Sharon are
feeling better soon😏
I’m not sure yet if I will make it on Saturday since I have to work evening.
Maybe the temperatures will get us going out at 830 or even 8 this weekend?
