I was shocked by the news just over a week ago that Ford was moving to the NACS
port but now that GM has done it as well, has left me gobsmacked. I never would
have thought that either of these companies would ever latch on to the Tesla
network. Being a Bolt and Spark owner I am thrilled to have access in the near
future to all of the charging networks (sorry about our 50 kW max). More
options is better for us all. This should help to build out the charging
network and make it ubiquitous, which will simplify the transition to EV for
all the people nervous about switching from ICE to EV. Looking forward to
figuring out how to park at Tesla Supercharger with the charging port on the
wrong side/end of the car.
