I think the Ambulance Advisory Board meeting is this next Thursday. I will be in Salem for the Public Safety Committee meeting. Please give my regards to the committee From: klamathsiskiyouems-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:klamathsiskiyouems-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Monte Keady Sent: Monday, May 10, 2010 1:06 PM To: Kara Davis Cc: klamathsiskiyouems@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Communications Center Visits Kara, There has been no change initiated from Klamath County in the dispatching of Fire District No. 1 apparatus to Dorris for ALS calls. We have experienced a decrease in call volume. I am interested in the memo from the Dr as the last notice was an agreement that Paramedics would have Paramedic scope and standing orders from the jurisdiction from which they respond from. This was designated as a temporary fix at the time. Dr Rudnick's memo should be out shortly to provide further clarification. Does that help? I think I can safely speak for all when I say these visits were very enlightening and informative. We now have a considerably clearer picture of the restrictions and challenges that each of us face within our centers. I do not think that either center will have difficulty implementing procedural changes to our dispatching of EMS responders, as soon as those affected agencies provide any possible procedural adjustments.
