Subject: Fuel Transportation Emergencies - Training

Directors,

I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that Marathon Petroleum Corp. has
created a free video training series for the fire service.  After several
incidents involving fuel haulers, we decided to produce a training video that
provides free training to the fire service.   We have witnessed fire
department's struggle with their responses at incidents and wanted to provide
additional guidance for them.   There is absolutely no cost and this is not a
Marathon commercial.  The firefighters can view four video chapters (each
approximately 7 minutes in length) and take an on-line quiz at the end.  After
passing the 20 question quiz they can print a certificate.

The following chapters provide instruction on these topics:

o   Chapter 1 - Introduction to Fuel Transport
§  Design, Construction, Safety Features and Loading
o   Chapter 2 - Responding to a Leak
§  Booming, Containment, Air Monitoring and Vapor Suppression
o   Chapter 3 - Responding to a Fire
§  Size-up rescue, Foam application rates & proportioning and decision- making
o   Chapter 4 - Tactics, Training & PPE
§  Foam training, combination, defensive and offensive operations & responder
safety

The video is a great resource and we would hope you could share this training
with their local responders.   Again, this is not a commercial for our company
but an opportunity for us to share industry expertise in fuel transportation
emergencies.  We do not collect the student's information and forward ads or
