Thanks for the info guys, like I said in my original email, I think I answered my own question (though in a rambling sort of way and maybe not too well) but that is why I always figured that is why singles had Mono/Stereo sides for radio station play. Now what gets me is this, why did some Mono Mixes vary SO much from their stereo counter parts in the 60's at times? I always wondered if it was to get people to buy both versions to make more money.
