Thank you Davide, that was very helpful. I'm currently scanning with
a DWL-G122.

I've been browsing through trac to find what the current functionality
of the Ralink chipset is, but i'm not seeing anything. I see that it
is scanning, channel hopping, getting packets, labeling packets,
counting unique IV's. Is all the data useful (i.e. usable for
cracking?) Can it be used as an injection device?

John

Hi,
There is no support for Ralink chipset in r190 "official" build.
UsbJack drivers are in the usb-drivers branch
(https://svn.binaervarianz.de/kismac/branches/usb-drivers/)
I've just downloded and compiled that version, and I've posted it here:

There is no installer, so you have to replace your Kismac.app manually.

If you've a Dlink Dwl-g122 and you've installed Dlink drivers, unload the RT2500 kernel module before starting kismac:

kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/RT2500USBWirelessDriver.kext

However my Dlink dwl-G122 doesn't work as primary injection device. :(

Bye,
    Can't dig that daddy.

P.s.: great job Kismac developers! :)
