OK, so I just found out about KisMac and it sure seems like an incredibly neat app.
I've gathered from reading various stuff that to really get cracking (sorry, bad pun...), one would need:
- A Prism2-based card (the only chipset which supports packet reinjection, right?)... - ... that supports 802.11g (because apparently [so I've read], the packet reinjection of 802.11b Prism2 cards doesn't work with 802.11g networks)
Since I have a 12 inch iBook with no PCMCIA slot, I thus need:
a 802.11g Prism-based USB card.
Are there any errors in my reasoning? Does such a beast exist? (Of course, it needs to work with KisMac.) Any suggestions?
