dont think so.
kismac is a well known project.
i could imagine, that there are several ppl willing to donate some lines
(if it were possible)...
(there are quite a few patches etc. on many mailing lists and bulletin
boards, but noone integrated them).
we'd definitly need some experienced dev's for the low level stuff.
building it universal would be a very important point.
perhaps this:

could help to even get the injection stuff running with airport extreme..
i'd vote for a fork if there'd be a core team,
really convinced in pushing this project.
