Byton hat Elektropower für 45 000 Dollar
Auf der CES 2018 zeigt der chinesische Tesla-Konkurrent Byton, wie vernetztes,
elektrisches und autonomes Fahren künftig funktionieren soll - und zwar zu
einem bezahlbaren Preis. Auf der Technik-Messe in Las Vegas präsentiert der
Hersteller erstmals den Prototypen seines Elektro-SUV. Der Einstiegspreis für
das Ende 2019 in China erscheinende Modell soll 45 000 Dollar betragen. Neben
Tesla sieht Byton-Chef Carsten Breitfeld die Wettbewerber seines Unternehmens
"bei den großen deutschen Premium-Herstellern Mercedes, BMW und Audi".

Diess ist 'Special Guest' bei Chiphersteller Nvidia
Volkswagen (VW)-Markenvorstand Herbert Diess war "Special Guest" auf der
Nvidia-Show in Las Vegas, denn die beiden Unternehmen haben eine
Technologiepartnerschaft angekündigt. VW wird künftig die neue Drive
IX-Plattform von Nvidia in seine ID-Buzz-Modelle einbauen. Dank künstlicher

Ralf Zander verantwortet ab sofort Finanzen und Controlling der Lapp Gruppe,
die Kabel und Leitungen herstellt. Der neue Lapp-Vorstand promovierte bei der
Beratungsgesellschaft Roland Berger. Später wechselte Zander zu Robert Bosch,
wo er für den Bereich Logistik, Controlling, Strategie und Merger &
Aquisitionen zuständig war. Zuletzt war der Manager als Leiter Finanz &
Controlling mit internationaler Verantwortung beim Automobilzulieferer

Roche und GE gehen Partnerschaft in digitaler Diagnostik ein
Roche und General Electric sind eine Partnerschaft im Bereich der digitalen
Diagnostik eingegangen. Nach Angaben des Schweizer Pharmakonzerns geht es dabei
um die Entwicklung einer Diagnoseplattform, durch welche die Behandlung von
Krebs- und Intensivpatienten verbessert werden soll. Gemeinsam wolle man eine
Software zur klinischen Entscheidungsunterstützung entwickeln, die eine
schnellere, präzisere und zuverlässigere Entscheidungsfindung und somit frühere
Diagnosen und individuelle Behandlungen ermöglichen solle, teilte Roche mit.

At the 2018 CES, Tesla's Chinese rival Byton showcases the future of connected,
electric and autonomous driving - at an affordable price. The manufacturer is
for the first time presenting the prototype of its e-SUV at the technology
trade fair in Las Vegas. Entry price for the model that is to be launched in
China in late 2019 is 45,000 dollars. In addition to Tesla, the major German

Diess special guest at chip maker Nvidia
Chair of the Volkswagen (VW) Passenger Cars brand Herbert Diess was the special
guest at the Nvidia show in Las Vegas, since both companies had announced a
technology partnership. VW will install the new Nvidia Drive IX platform in its
ID Buzz models. With the help of artificial intelligence, the vehicles are to
recognize people approaching the car, open the door for their owners and other

Ralf Zander is as of now in charge of finance and controlling at Lapp Group,
which manufactures cables and wiring. The new board member did his doctorate at

Roche and GE close partnership in digital diagnostics
Roche and General Electric have entered into a partnership in digital
diagnostics. According to the Swiss pharmaceutical company, the goal is to
develop a diagnostics platform for the improvement of cancer and intensive
patient treatment. The companies will jointly develop a software for clinical
decision support, which allows for quicker, more precise and more reliable
decision-making and therefore earlier diagnoses and individual treatment, Roche
