CRU. (bloomberg.com - 11. Januar 2018)

Diesel engines: Will they have to be retrofited after all?
The politicians of the German Conservatives (CDU/CSU) and Social Democrats
(SPD), who are currently deciding whether to enter into coalition talks with
each other, want to make hardware retrofits of diesel vehicles mandatory, it
says in a position paper. To reduce pollution in cities, they believe that a
number of measures on "efficient and clean combustion engines including
retrofits" are unavoidable. At the same time though, the policymakers want to
prevent driving bans. (automobilwoche online - January 11, 2018)

The price for cobalt, which is needed to power car batteries, has increased

George Heppel, a consultant at CRU. (bloomberg.com - January 11, 2018)
