I plan to attend. You should get a message that Steve Fondren can't make it. -----Original Message----- From: kegswindows-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:kegswindows-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Dodge Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 9:37 PM To: KEGS LIST Subject: [kegswindows] Windows Sig Meeting-Mar8th Hello All, Next week, Tony Bailey of Microsoft wants to query those of us in KEGS to discuss what IT pros (want) to see in a virtual community and how they might support PC user groups. This is focused at those of us who have network administration experience or those that support users on a network or we could probably stretch this to include those that use online resources to support users. He would like to treat those that want to come to this meeting to pizza, but he needs a headcount of dedicated attendees so he can order the right amount. If you would like to attend and provide input, please respond so I can tally the attendees and forward the right number to Tony so he can get the right stuff for the meeting. The SIG meeting will be focused on his needs and if any time is left over, we can discuss the usual confounding windows and hardware topics. I need to know by Sunday night so I can get him the information in a timely manner. Send to daviddodge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx If you would like to look at some of the formats that Microsoft is using in their "communities" to see if this would work in a "User Group" environment, please check out this link: Desktop Deployment Center = http://www.microsoft.com/technet/desktopdeployment/default.mspx Please understand this is technical content, but see if you can imagine this format with typical User Group type content,ie: meetings, technical forums, Q&A, and topics like that. Sorry if you get this twice. Thanks, David Dodge Windows SIG Leader KEGS
