Monte,

 

With 18 participants, we will need to bring in an outside instructor.  I will 
need to check to see if one is available to come and teach.  If not, we may 
have to limit the class # to about 14.  If we can bring in another instructor, 
your agency will need to pay for their lodging and $200/day for teaching.  

 

Two more items:  1) please make sure the participants have the PHTLS pretest 
and complete it/bring it with them to the first day of the class.  A copy of 
the pretest is attached to this e-mail.

 

2) For each participant, I need you to provide me with the following 
information so I can register them for the course:  mailing address, EMT level 
and cert #, e-mail and phone number.  

3) For equipment, we will need an airway manikin, equipment for spinal 
immobilization (3 full sets with straps), and 1 set of advanced airway 
equipment (laryngoscope and blades, ET tubes, cricothyrotomy equipment, etc.)

 

Please advise me ASAP if you are willing to pay for the outside instructor.  If 
not, then let me know which personnel from the list will not attend.
