To: <gsoc-india@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, "LUG" <linuxusers_iitm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, <nitklug@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, <iitdlug@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Hey If you haven't heard about Google Code-In, it's a program to get younger students involved in open source. It's Google's program for pre-university students age 13 to 18. Please tell your younger siblings and younger friends about it! Also, the program has *non-coding* tasks as well!! So you don't need to code to be able to contribute. http://code.google.com/opensource/gci/2011-12/index.html Also, here's some pimpage for KDE's proposed task list: http://community.kde.org/GoogleCodeIn/2011/Ideas Regards Akarsh -- IIT Madras Linux Users' Group http://groups.google.co.in/group/linuxusers_iitm http://www.cse.iitm.ac.in/~osslab/wiki
