Yes, mounting a GPS is what I need it for. I have a fantastic RAM Suction
Mount but sometime the suction doesn't suction. So I was thinking of the
Pro-Fit and attaching the Ram Diamond Ball to it so it is less abtrusive.
Thanks for the tip, will check out West Marine.

May I recommend if you are looking for a mount for your Garmin or your GPS
that West Marine has a neat gadget that I use for my 76CSX and it works great.
If you live in Belleville, the Quinte Sports store on outer 62 has Garmin
mounts for a variety of GPS too and they are also knowledgeable about mounts
for units other than Garmin,
