I've set up the ListServ for KACT and subscribed all the people that had =
an interest in helping to plan the group...once the group officially =
begins I'll add everyone that joins.

After more thought to the 2-year term that I suggested originally (to =
provide continuity for the biennial conference), a 2 year term as =
president-elect followed by a 2 year term as president followed by a 2 =
year term as past president would result in a 6 year comittment on the =
part of anyone choosing to be president...this seems like an awfully =
long time to commit (the other offices didn't have this problem, just =
president because of the "elect" and "past" offices). Would it be =
better to have all officers elected annually and then have a officer =
dedicated to the biennal conference that is elected every other year =
after each conference is held? What's your thoughts?

Kelly
