At the Kenneth A Spencer Award Banquet on Friday,
February 24 at the 
Kauffman Foundation Dr. Con Baker will receive the
2005 Award. Last years 
ACS President Bill Carroll will attend the meeting.
We scheduled a special meeting with Bill Carroll on
Friday in the afternoon. 
A poster for this meeting is attached (see below)
The 2001 President Attilla Pavlath is an old friend of
Don Baker and will be 
at our meetings in KC Friday and Saturday. He is the
third speaker at the 
Saturday Symposium to honor  Dr. Baker. You can find
the program at 
www.umkc.edu/kcacs  and you can see the symposium live
on your computer at 
www.umkc.tv
This years ACS president Ann Nalley will present the
first lecture on 
Saturday morning at 10:00 am central time, a magic
show, from Oklahoma.

The symposium is for the public and includes
agricultural and environmental science and engineering
parts; it should be of interest to teachers and
students.
