How To Protect Your Online Art
The Advantages of using DIGITAL Online Curriculum instead of books.

Twelve of the most popular science textbooks used at middle schools
nationwide are riddled with errors, a new study has found. Read about
the horror of science book errors.

NASA has partnered with motion picture makers Columbia TriStar
Marketing Group, Inc., Culver City, Calif., and Houghton Mifflin
Company, Boston, to engage students in science and mathematics. The
goal of the partnership is to create resources for educators that
spark student imagination, encourage interest in space exploration,
and enhance the elementary science curriculum.

On Nov. 16, 2005, NASA is bringing together two visions of space for
one day of fascinating conversation. Students and teachers are
invited to watch a series of webcasts featuring Chris Van Allsburg,
the award winning author and illustrator of "Zathura," and NASA
scientist Jennifer Keyes. What do an artist and a scientist have to
talk about? They will discuss the importance of imagination in both
art and exploration.

Educational Resources: In addition to the webcast events, NASA is providing teachers with more educational resources based on "Zathura." Educators can access and download exciting NASA-related posters, which include NASA standards-based lessons and activities. Two posters are available, one for grades 3-5 and one for grades 6-8. Along with the posters, two grade-level activities are available.
