Proposals Being Accepted for Information Technology Experiences for
Students and Teachers

The Information Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers, or
ITEST, presents opportunities for students and teachers to learn about
and use information technologies within the context of science,
technology, engineering and mathematics. Proposals are being accepted
for projects that provide opportunities to middle and high school
students and teachers to build the skills and knowledge needed to
advance their study, and to function and contribute to a technology
rich society. ITEST is seeking projects that demonstrate innovative
and creative applications of IT in school and nonschool contexts and
is committed to preparing learners to benefit from and contribute to
the growing national cyberinfrastructure.

U.S. organizations with an educational mission are eligible to apply.
Proposals targeting minorities, persons with disabilities and women
are especially encouraged.

The first preliminary proposal due date is Jan. 05, 2007.
