Strategies That Work: Teaching About Current Events http://www.educationworld.com/a_curr/strategy/strategy017.shtml The statistics we read about students' awareness of world events are frightening. A strong current events program can also teach essential skills related to writing, geography, and history. Voice of Experience: Viable Unions Depend on You http://www.educationworld.com/a_curr/voice/voice105.shtml When Max Fischer was a new teacher he shied away from the teacher union. Educators Review 30-Minute Websites for Teachers http://www.educationworld.com/a_tech/tech/tech182.shtml 30-Minute Websites for Teachers is a Web-based tool that gives educators -- with no knowledge of HTML or Web page design -- an easy way to create and maintain their own Web sites.
