Slavery and Apartheid

Slavery has been a divisive issue around the world for centuries. To better 
understand the concepts of slavery and apartheid, students should research the 
topics that have been the basis of slavery and apartheid.

These may include topics such as the various people of different African 
countries brought to the Americas for slavery; the implication of Africans in 
trading their own people into slavery; and the specific separation and 
segregation into classes for the concept of apartheid.
