[juneau-lug] Re: xandros install

That is sort of what I did.  The driver is there.  Knoppix is using ne.o 
(from lsmod) for my plain jane NE2000 nic & it works fine.  Xandros also 
has a  ne.o but it won't load.  Why?  They are both debian.  I should be 
able to do an "insmod ne", but no, it give me "unresolved symbol".  This 
usually means version mismatch, doesn't it?  I could  try copying & 
replacing the Knoppix ne.o to Xandros. 

New data point - it also fails under MandrakeMove.  Huh?
