well, I am most familiar with Gnome and KDE, plus most people have them 
both...but no, I am not stuck. 

I am kind of a "miniature" kind of guy...I was the kind of guy that pared down 
win95 to 35 megs, and was still looking for fat. =)

Are you stuck on Gnome or KDE?  You might be better off with one of the
other Window Managers out ther like XFCE, ICEWM or FluxBox.
