[juneau-lug] supporting windows

Have you had to support windows on a family members computer and they are
on a dial-up connection?

I am primary support contact for all my family members and it always seems
they are running windows 98(95), and/or don't know about windows update. 
(and there computers are a cesspool of various contageous diseases that
you thought died off years ago.  I.E.  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs),
or the stoned virus.  (whaa? is that still around?) )

Microsoft will ship a free security update CD and cover the shipping.

An idea is to right now preemtively ship them a security update CD to
hopefully rid the internet of yet another form of broadband/dial-up noise.
