Yup, did that yesterday before I knew the source.  But if I recall 
correctly there is a way to read the mac address of attached and 
validated device and then use its mac address as your own to gain 
access.  So nothing is perfect.

If we could just get him to get his grades back up, he could earn his 
computer privileges back.  But the games and online cartoons, etc are 
just too tempting for him.  So the school work gets ignored.  He can do 
well when he wants to, but sees no value in it or something.  Very 
frustrating as a parent.  Need a big bottle of Grow_Up_Now pills.
