ive used vi and i have to say that it will do in a pinch.  but lately i
have had a hard time finding pico,  so my new favorite is nano.  i know
all the usual arguments about vi being a much better editor. more
features and so on and so forth.  i dont disagree, but i like to keep it
easy as possible. but like like alfie said, ive been spoiled with gui's.
