Jamie,
That is a perfect topic for me, but I don't know if everyone else is already 
well versed on that topic.

My current project is "a compter on a flash drive."  I have installed Knoppix 
on a 16G (overkill, but to store your preferneces and data you gotta go up from 
4 to 8 with 6.4) and have just begun to experiment with ways to make it as 
secure but seamless as possible.  

Have some bugs worked out, but would love to see tricks anyone else has.

The next JLUG meeting will be in the small meeting room at the downtown 
library on Monday, Apr. 25 6-8pm.

One possible topic: how to deal with windows programs - 1) dual booting, 
2) wine or 3) virtual machine - advantages and disadvantages of each.
