well i followed the tutorial and everything went good until setting x up.
i have a gforce4 ti 42000 videocard, i headed on over to nvidia.com and dl
the nvidia kernel module and the video drivers couldnt get kernel module to
install. something about a different compiler that was used to compile the
kernel. any thoughts? i have updatd xfree to version 4.2.0, and i used the
2.4 kernel. perhaps i need to rebuild the kernel, if that is the deal is
there a "debian" way to do this or the usual way. being new to debian still
trying to figure out the subtle little differences,
any help would be great. thanks
sean
