I was in Oregon the other week and they've got a really cool buy/sell site
called craigslist (you've probably seen it on slashdot). Anyway I want to
get rid of some of my junk for free in Juneau and I wanted a no hassle
completely automated website with a bunch of features that I thought would
be cool.
So in order to get rid of some of my stuff I have over-engineered a
solution to the problem (as usual!). I threw up a site
http://myronslist.org.
Features:
simplistic layout
anonymous remailer (SRS compatible!)
non-commercial
database driven (entire site dynamic)
no ads (ever!)
no cookies
manage ads after posting them
I was able to post a few things I want to get rid of, I thought perhaps
this could become more useful to others as well. That and I need
beta-testers :) So I was hoping some of you would wander on over there
and give me any advice I might need. (I'm NOT a graphic artist so keep
that in mind!) I also have no idea about categories and stuff.
btw I only tested it in firefox so... I'll certainly listen to anything
anybody sends me for advice.
Hopefully this message isn't too much of an advertisement.. all that is on
there currently is a few computer items I posted that I want to get rid of
for free!
