Greetings guys,
We use MAC filtering on our router at home. One day when we were adding a new
device we accidentally switched the filtering rules from “allow only these MAC
addresses” to “block these MAC addresses”. Suddenly none of our devices had
internet access. The fix was to simply press the reset button on the back of
the router and it restored the router to default settings and removed the MAC
filtering settings. Just wanted to bring this up because if your guest has
access to the router he could easily remove all of your security settings by
simply pressing a button and blame it on a power outage.
