The VMware Player is supposed to be a tool you use with pre-exisitng VMs created on another machine with a paid for product. But there are tools out there for creating VMs without having to buy anything. Try http://www.virtualization.info/2005/12/guide-to-create-vmx-files-for-vmware.html With reports of VMware GSX being offered up for free, I wonder if they will start giving away their Workstation version too? Even with the price on the GSX version dropping to $0, I still like the ESX version and would rather stick that up than a GSX server. ------------------------------------ The Juneau Linux Users Group -- http://www.juneau-lug.org This is the Juneau-LUG mailing list.
