[juneau-lug] Vim

I watched the discussion about text editors with great interest. The 
only editor that I had used on Linux rescue missions until this week had 
been Jed, but after seeing Vi and Vim mentioned by most everyone that 
responded, I decided to give Vim a try. Guess what? The learning curve 
isn't all that steep, at least for basic editing, so I have a new rescue 
tool. Definitely the way to go! When I'm in X, I use kwrite most of the 
time, though I also use Kate, nedit and Jext from time to time just for 
variety.

I'm in the process of bookmarking the Vim pdf manual. Not sure why the 
developers didn't do it, but it makes navigating a pdf much nicer, so 
I'm doing it. If anyone would like a copy when I'm done, let me know and 
I will contract you when it's done (probably tomorrow.)
