Hmm. I guess it's just a ferry ride away. I would need to schedule leave from work, get spouse unit authorization, etc. Really, it was a very basic demo of using Kino to pull data off of a mini-DV camcorder, doing some basic transitions and setting up chapters, exporting mpeg, then using dvdstyler to set up a menu and burn a DVD. I think it took about an hour and a half, and a lot of that was watching progress bars. With some work done beforehand that could be reduced. (grab a little bit of video, then import the rest that's pre-captured, already have an exported mpeg, to switch to, etc.) What kind of venue is it? How many people would be interested? I've never given a presentation for more than about 50 people.
