[juneau-lug] Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft

I've been running the release candidate of Edgy Eft until I got home last
night from Squarebanks and updated it to the release version.
So far, so good. Compiz/Beryl were very easy to install and setup after
installing the Nvidia beta drivers for my GeForce 6600GT card, and so far
are working flawlessly...

It's leading-edge if not bleeding-edge, and still uses the 2.6.17 kernel but
GNOME's at 2.16.1 and KDE at 3.5.5. OpenOffice, Firefox, and Evolution are
all the latest versions...

VMWare Workstation 5.5.2 was no problem installing either, for those still
needing some Windows apps...

More later, after I try crashing some apps...
