On the news this morning, there is a strike authorization vote coming up
for UPS.  Apparently their contract renewal with the Teamsters isn't going
well.

So if you're ordering online, you might want to specify UPS alternatives
(if you can) for things you need right away. Last time there was a UPS
strike, the strike itself only lasted 15 days, but the local effects are
still with us here in Juneau - there is an added day to shipping times
that doesn't have to be there.
