Septembers Meeting of the Juneau Linux Users Group will be held on
September 19th at the Downtown Library from 6-9 PM. Currently we have
on tap setting up a PXE server and how to boot up off an iso with that.
I have a laptop that can boot off an onboard NIC that I can bring in for
that.

Also I have a bunch of business card CD-R's that I was going to bring in
with the latest Damn Small Linux. If you have another distro you wanted
on a Business card CD, let me know and I will burn it, or if you want
some blanks, let me know and I will bring them in. These look like they
are ink jet printable so I probably won't label them.

On that note, does anyone have or know of a decent but cheap inkjet
printer good for labeling CDs? Right now I'm leaning towards an Epson
Stylus Photo 200, but am wary due to the Partially Support rating on
LinuxPrinting.org. Any suggestions would be nice. CD labeling is first
priority, Linux support is second.

I know we are getting into the new school year, and now is as good a
time to bring it up as any. Is everyone content with the current
meeting schedule of the third Monday of the month, and for that matter,
alternating the meeting places between the Downtown Library and the
Valley Library? If not, let us know and we can try to change the
schedule to get more attendance. I do like the libraries as a meeting
place, because they do provide free Wifi. Also is there anything that
you would like to see at the lug meetings. Bring it to the list, and we
will see what we can do.

Finally, if whoever is maintaining http://www.juneau-lug.org could
update it with the new info, I would appreciate it.
