Turns out that I do have a Win98 machine on this network as well as 4
WinME's and one linux.

Current Status. I forced Linux to be the prefered master and the domain
master. When I do this, then ALL windows computers see each other and
they also see the linux box and its several alias that I was playing
with.

I can ping from the Windows boxes to the Linux box.

The Network Neighborhood shows all windows machines and the linux
machines and the alias'.

However, I cannot connect from the Windows machine to the Linux
machines. One WinME has the patch/update this is supposed to fix the
problem. It didn't. The other three WinME machines don't have the
patch yet. The Win 98 machine is not patched, but it won't take this
patch. Humm.

I am able to connect from the linux box to the Win 98 and the Win ME
boxes, but I only have read access at this point.

Dan
