On the same line of thought, I've got SuSe 8.0. Does anyone want a
copy? Libranet 1.9? Mandrake 8.2?

It's been a long time since I used SuSe last, the install was
definitely a different flavor than Red Hat or Mandrake. I installed it
3 times before I figured out how to tweak/configure everything
properly. My cordless mouse was a bear, but of course once you figure
behind which door the secret lies it's actually quite simple, just
different. I am enjoying SuSe 8.0, it's by far the best I've
experienced to date, just takes a little tweaking time.

This is the second time I have purchased a distribution (no Tux in the
box, or a Chameleon for that matter). Has any one else found that the
purchased copies are more stable? Maybe during the install YaST2 did a
great job of detecting dependencies. All I know is I've got an
incredibly quick, stable system, something I've never experienced.

Oh, BTW .......................I am now WINDOWS FREE.
