[juneau-lug] Question about ypbind

I've noticed that when my machine boots, it hangs a while when NIS is
trying to do its thing. I'm pretty sure that I have no use for NIS, and
so I'm wondering if removing the ypbind package would break anything?

My machine is generally networked only via ppp, and only when my wife
doesn't want to use the phone.

Any thoughts?
