Nels,

This week I've been playing with Jacob's All-in-one, as well as an 8500, 7600 
and 7200.  I've gotten pretty good at installing Debian on old-world Macs with 
no MacOS required (meaning you don't need stuffit expander).

I can send you some floppy images you can dd with Linux, or else we can make a 
party of it and install Debian on your PowerPC.
