The process is described well on Debian's web page. The PowerPC CDs are
not bootable on old world Macs, but the floppy images on the CD are.

The tricky part is getting the bootloader (quik) to work.  My success has
ranged from just having it work right the first time (on a 7600) to having
to tweak both open firmware and quik itself (on the All-in-one).  Since
the details depend on how the disk is partitioned and the open firmware
revision, I don't know that I could do a better job than Debian does of
documenting it.
