I think a demo would be great.  I'll pencil you in.  I was thinking about May 
this afternoon, and was going to try to work up a Sed & Awk basic primer.  OS X 
sounds more fun though.  Maybe I'll bring a Centris 610 running OpenBSD and we 
can make May "Mac Month."  :)

How much of *BSD shows through the OS?  Do you even notice it when you're in 
the GUI?

Can you compile & run "normal" (meaning Linux & BSD) apps from source, or are 
there a lot of dependency problems?

We'll need to test our projector against your Mac.  I have some apple display 
-> IBM display adapters, but I'm not sure they actually work (they don't work 
on any of the Macs I've tested at home anyway).
