Looks like one of the options for video input are three regular VGA
ports - meaning that if you can run three video cards (or get one of
those Matrox 4-head cards running) then you shouldn't have a problem. A
quick check of Matrox's site shows that you should be able to get it
working - check with a Matrox Linux Support Representative if you have
problems. (Now *that* is a nice job title to see on a manufacturer's
web site!) The hard part looks like it is configuring X to use more
than one monitor.

The advantage I see is that you would have four panels available,
instead of three. Hard to say whether I would prefer an inverted T
configuration so that I could "look up" and follow a target while in a
dogfight, or a normal T configuration so that I could scan instruments
while flying. The difficulty in doing either task is one thing I don't
like about flight sims. Hmm. Maybe I'll hold out for a five-head
solution so I can do both. And a game capable of running multiple views
at the same time. (On the other hand, three screens would be perfect
for multiple Harpoon windows spread out over a large virtual desktop).
