Yes, actually, I'm an econometrician. That means that on odd-numbered
days, I'm an economist, and on even-numbered days, I'm a statistician.
Not being able to make up my mind this way means two professional
societies, two sets of journals to make shelf space for, and so on.
Life's tough.
