Kevin, the GIMP demo was about a year ago, but it wasn't a JLUG meeting.

I like the idea of reviewing video tools.  My new videocam produces M2TS 
files which were proving to be bothersome using Fedora 9.  Last go 
round, I ended up using a live cd - AVLinux which included Handbrake.  
It would transcode my video file to something usable.  It now appears 
Fedora 12 now has the necessary codecs to handle M2TS files, but needs 
further investigation.  Kdenlive has certainly improved.  What do others 
use?
