We'll post minutes after the meeting. (Basically what will probably
happen is that we'll come up with lots of chores to do, nominate Hans
since he won't be there to defend himself, and then elect him to do
them.)

By organization what I really mean is divvying up the little things we
need to keep track of - membership, web page, mailing list, etc.

A *Very Important* task as far as I'm concerned is club development.
What do we want to do with the LUG? We'll always be a 'club' - people
interested in Linux/Unix getting together for a good time. But should
we think about becoming a service organization that can help out local
non-profits in town with low cost computing solutions? That is
something I think is a good idea for a long term goal, but we're not
large enough yet and we don't have the breadth of experience needed for
a really professional effort. However we may be able to take baby steps
towards that goal. Perhaps that kind of goal isn't where the rest of
you want to go - which is fine, I realize it is a little abitious for
our third meeting, and is also easily taken on one project at a time.

It also looks like we should set up an out-of-town program - the South
East Alaska Semi-Linux User's Group since it isn't pure Linux, but a
*nix kind of thing. (Actually that's the only way I could get the extra
S in there...)
