Evolution is storing passwords in a wallet.

I can't remember if you're using KDE or Gnome.

For KDE, play around with kwalletmanager. It should show up if you just type
wallet in the start menu search bar, then click on the wallet icon in the start
bar to manipulate your wallet(s).

For Gnome, gnome-keyring-manager is the package name but I don't know how it is
called.

Either should be able to reset the passphrase on your wallet assuming you can
unlock it with the old passphrase.

If you did more than just reset your password when you changed your login
information, please let us know.
