[juneau-lug] Juneau Linux Users Group November meeting

The Juneau Linux Users Group will have a meeting 22 November 2002, 6PM 
- 9PM at the Klukwan offices in Juneau.

The November topics are:

The Gimp image manipulation by Chuck Hakari,
    - image quality
    - the levels tool
    - more topics as the demo progresses & people ask questions
A basic office setup by James Zuelow,
    - Configuring a workstation with a GUI & OpenOffice 1.0.1
    - Low cost remote X terminals to turn the above workstation into an 
application server.
    - Simple Samba configuration to demonstrate Windows(r) compatibility
    - Network printing
    - DHCP & Dynamic DNS will be shown but not configured
Equipment swap
    - Numerous pieces of equipment will be available to swap, purchase 
and/or give away.
