Hi,

I'd be willing to put on a little introduction to/demonstration of
LaTeX. I was thinking that I could give a quick overview, show the
basics of how to make a document that will compile, and demonstrate how
to do slides (transparencies for overhead projector), letters, business
cards, and articles. In that last, I could show some examples of
equations, and of pretty-printing source code.

I usually use LaTeX from within emacs, with the latex and reftex modes.
They and aspell make Word look pretty sick.

If I use my laptop, it would be optimal if we could have a projector
which can handle 1024x7-whatever. I'm sure that I could figure out how
to get 800x6-something working, if I ask a few questions (I knew how to
do it in X version3, but have just switched to version 4, and that's
different).
